The Synovis Corporation teamed up with Anoka Ramsey Community College and Dr. Frank Friedman to deliver a one-hour class reviewing the function of cardio vascular system and the medical devices developed for treatment. Designwrite Studios was retained to convert the class to an online resource for faculty and students throughout the MNSCU system, as well as for new employees of the Synovis Corporation.
- Designed illustrations to be used by Dr. Friedman during live classroom teaching
- Filmed the classroom lecture
- Integrated video with slides, Flash animations, and stock video from surgeries and other medical procedures to produce a one-hour computer-based class on the cardio-vascular system
- The class was deployed on DVD. It was also segmented and deployed through the Learning Management System, Desire2Learn (D2L)
A second DVD was developed for new Synovis employees, focusing specifically on Synovis-developed surgical and non-surgical technologies.
